Prabang à Vientiane.

1 : LUANG PRABANG (arrivée)
Accueil à l'aéroport
puis transfert à l'hôtel.
La visite démarre avec la dévouverte
de Luang Prabang, ville historique classée
Patrimoine Mondial par l'Unesco et qui est de fait,
probablement l'une des cités les mieux
préservées d'Asie du Sud-Est. La ville
est excellement bien située, et forme une
sorte de presqu'île au confluent du fleuve
Mékong et de la
rivière Khan. Visite des Vat Visoun, Vat
Aham, Vat Mai. A l'heure du coucher du soleil, nous
irons au sommet du Mont Phousi puis redescendrons
en ville pour déambuler au milieu du marché de
nuit installée dans la rue principale en début de
soirée.

Day
1: LUANG PRABANG (Arrival)
Upon arrival at the
airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel.
Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional
city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm
of this town with its splendid natural scenery and
cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos.
After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa
of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai;
we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an
enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa
as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and
the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night
Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local
and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Over
night in Luang Prabang.

Jour
2 : LUANG PRABANG- PAK OU
Visite guidée
du plus ancien temple de la ville, le Vat Sène puis
du Vat Xiengthong. Départ en bateau pour une remontée
du Mékong jusqu'à la rivière "Nam" Ou où se trouvent
nichées au creux de la falaise, les grottes
de Pak Ou. Des milliers de statuettes de Bouddha ont
été déposés au fil des siècles par les populations
locale.
Sur le chemin, nous arrêterons au village de Xanghai,
"ban xanghai", où se fabrique un très bon alcool de
riz. Puis au retour, au village de "Ban" Phanom, village
connu pour la qualité de ses tissages.
L'après midi, visite du marché Phosi où vous pourrez
trouver toutes sortes de curiosités, de la couenne
de buffle séché à l'artisanat le plus fin,
notamment celui des peuples montagnards des village Hmong.
Nous prendrons ensuite la route vers les chutes de Khuang
Si, dont les bassins naturels offrent autant de piscines
où vous pourrez vous baigner si vous le souhaitez. Au
retour, nous arrêterons au village de tisserands
de Ban Phanom. Retour en ville en fin d'après midi, juste
pour le coucher du soleil sur le fleuve depuis le Vat
Siphouthabath.

Day 2: LUANG PRABANG
- PAK OU
AM: After breakfast,
we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city's oldest
temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping
low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang
temple. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River , which also gives
us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit
to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered
Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village
of Ban Xanghai, where they make the distillation of local rice wine.
PM:
You will visit the morning Phosi Market where you
will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo
skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens,
vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also
known for its traditional crafts, and today you will
visit local village of Lao ethnic minority groups
at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village
and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village, then drive to the
beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can splash
around in the pools or walk along the forest paths,
return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue
to Ban Phanom, a well known weaving village, return
to the city by late evening, for observing the sunset
at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

3 : LUANG PRABANG - VIENTIANE
Visite du Musée
national qui est en fait l'ancien Palais royal situé
dans un grand parc au pied du Mont Phousi, au coeur
de la ville. De là, nous irons
au marché central où les villageois Hmong viennent
proposer leur travaux de broderie, linge de maison,
couvres-lit...
Départ vers l'aéroport pour court vol
qui nous conduira à Vientiane, la capitale du pays.
Visite des sites majeurs dont le Vat Sisaket, le Ho
Prakheo, le That Luang et le Patuxai également conu
sous le nom d'Arc de Triomphe. Enfin retour sur le
Mékong pour le coucher du soleil.

Day
3: LUANG PRABANG - VIENTIANE
The National Museum at the former
Royal Palace , which displays a lovely collection of
the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture
dating from the days of the early kings right through
the last sovereign, and the Central Market are not
to be missed. We visit these sights, this morning before
we atch a flight back to Vientiane . Upon arrival,
we see the major temples including the oldest Wat Sisaket
, a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues
and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously
housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way
to the famous, sacred structure of That Luang Stupa
, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay
Monument , which is Vientiane 's own Arc de Triumph,
sunset by Mekong Riverside and late evening.

4 : VIENTIANE (dernier jour)
Après une visite
du Marché du Matin, ou Talat Sao, départ vers l'aéroport
en fonction des horaires de vol. Ou vers le Pont de
l'Amitié. |

After breakfast, we visit the Morning
Market,
transfer to airport for departure. Or to to the Friendship
Bridge. |
